pick pocketing on VIP buses

There have been reports recently of tourists being robbed on the VIP buses to northern Thailand and from south to Bangkok without noticing any of their belongings disappearing till exiting the buses. Money and jewelry were among the goods stolen. None of the travelers noticed anything happening till checking their bags and wallets.

Please be careful which buses you take and from were you book them. Make sure you carry your money on you and not in your backpacks.
